National Association of Cities

Our Objective

The National Association of Cities primary objective is to strengthen, what we consider the "Backbone of America", its smaller municipalities.

The National Association of Cities is assisting municipalities with:

• The development of long-term economic development programs, such as the Building America Program, which determines and promotes municipality’s needs, points of interests, existing and sought after business and industry, tourism, etc. in one central location (visit www.buildingamerica.org)
• The establishment of a better communication link with their citizens
• The ability for citizens, business owners and elected and appointed officials to access various federal, state and local information sources
• The enhancement of local existing business
• The attraction of new business and industry
• The ability to increase revenues and increase services to its citizens
• The attraction of tourism
• Participate in various group-buying programs established for municipal employees and citizens
• Establishing a better quality of life for its citizens
