What
a pleasure to chat with you and receive an
education about your wonderful economic
development program, “Building America”.
The
Building America project sounds like an idea for
the ages and I know it is going to help
strengthen America’s cities, towns and
villages.
Challenges
for America’s small cities are comparable to
those that I’ve faced and overcome.
I
am a small town boy who has battled up hill my
entire life. Now, four Olympic Medals
later, I am proud to say that the motivation I
received from being from a small town with less
opportunities (so I thought) is what has kept my
inner fires burning all of these years.
I
wish you the best in your worthwhile endeavors
and recognize your admirable efforts.
Always remember that “A smooth sea never made
a skilled sailor”.
